Slideflow Labs Privacy Policy

Slideflow Labs Inc. ("Slideflow," "we," "us") provides an AI-powered digital pathology platform to hospitals and laboratories. This policy describes the personal information we collect through our website at slideflow.ai and our customer portal at app.slideflow.ai, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What this policy does not cover
This policy does not apply to Customer Data: the slide images, case and order information, and any protected health information ("PHI") that our hospital and laboratory customers submit to the Slideflow platform. We process Customer Data solely on behalf of the customer that submitted it. Where Customer Data includes PHI, we act as a business associate under HIPAA. Its handling is governed by customer agreements and applicable law, not by this policy. If you are a patient with questions about your health information, please contact your healthcare provider.
Information we collect
Website (slideflow.ai). Our website is informational. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising trackers, and contains no forms. The only information we receive from the website is standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) generated by our hosting infrastructure, and any email you choose to send us at contact@slideflow.ai.
Customer portal (app.slideflow.ai). When a customer organization arranges an account for you, we collect your name, work email address, role, and organization. When you use the portal, we collect sign-in and session data, and we keep logs of account activity, such as sign-ins and access to reports, for security and compliance purposes. The portal uses essential cookies and similar browser storage needed to authenticate you, keep you signed in, and protect your session. It does not use analytics or advertising cookies.
Correspondence. If you email us, we keep the correspondence.
How we use information
We use this information to provide, secure, and administer the platform, to communicate with our customers and their authorized users, and to comply with legal obligations.
How we share information
We share personal information only with the service providers that host and support our platform (principally Google Cloud Platform), with professional advisers, and when required by law. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. No third parties collect personal information about your activity across other websites through our sites. We do not track visitors across other websites, and for that reason we do not respond to Do Not Track signals.
Security and retention
We maintain administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption of data in transit and at rest. We retain portal account information for as long as the associated customer agreement is active, and afterwards as needed to meet legal obligations and maintain security records.
Your choices
Authorized users of the portal can review and update their account information through their organization's administrator or by contacting us at contact@slideflow.ai. We respond to reasonable requests to review or correct personal information.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy at this page and update the effective date above.
